Manini Beach
Soak up some sun or relax in the shade under the trees if you prefer. This beach park offers a grass area where you can spread out your picnic blanket or beach towel and relax for a few hours. When it gets too hot, put your water shoes on and cool off in the waters of Kealakekua Bay. Swimming here is decent with an expansive view of the bay. Perfect place to unwind and read a book.
Getting There
From Luana Inn turn right onto Lower Nāpo’opo’o Road when you reach the bottom of the driveway. Drive (5 min) or walk (20 min) to the end of Lower Nāpo’opo’o Road and turn left on Puuhonua Rd. Look out for the first street on the right called Manini Beach Rd. Look carefully it is a small street and can easily be missed. Turn right on Manini Beach Rd and follow the road until you see a small parking area. Park if you’re driving and follow the path to the beach park. You will see a sign that says Manini Beach Park. Beyond the sign you will see the grass area to relax and to the right you’ll see the ocean. You’ve arrived. Enjoy.
