Secluded Ke’ei Beach
Secluded Ke’ei Beach is a lesser known beach visited primarily by locals and surfers. This small cove is unknown to most visitors and therefore is the perfect place to get away to for the day and forget about the world. Bring plenty of water and a picnic lunch or sunset dinner and get ready for some serious rest and relaxation. Cool off in the ocean whenever it gets too hot and try some snorkeling here as well.
Ke’ei beach is also a great location to watch the sunset. Planning your beach time for the afternoon till sunset is a great option to marvel at the beautiful colors.
Surfers take note: you can enjoy the long reef break on days when wave conditions are favorable. Keʻei is known for some of the longest wave rides in Kona.
This beach offers a small boat launch, as well as a few fishing shacks. However, it’s important to note, there are no public restrooms.
