Detoxification From Chemotherapy
Today, many patients have undergone chemotherapy prior to engaging in an alternative cancer treatment. Chemotherapy can be very damaging to the liver. Blood tests may show elevated bilirubin or elevated liver enzymes. The juices and the coffee enemas in the Gerson Therapy will be very helpful in restoring normal liver function. They will speed up the process of detoxification from the harmful chemical of chemotherapy by removing toxic byproducts from the tissues and increasing bile flow and glutathione. The large amount of fresh juice provides ample ingredients to rebuild the damaged cells of the digestive tract, the skin, the hair follicles and the immune system. Patients who had chemotherapy treatment will follow a modified juice and enema schedule and will abstain from the castor oil enema to avoid strong detoxification symptoms.
Program Duration and Arrival/Start Times
We offer Two and Three Week Gerson Therapy Programs Hawaii that may be extended for as long as desired. Our programs are individualized. Each program is designed according to the specific individual’s health history and unique requirements. Our doctor makes a thorough assessment by reviewing the medical questionnaire, labs, test results and essay submitted during registration. Additional information is retrieved from the patient by a phone consultation to complete the evaluation.
You may choose to start your program any time or day during the week from Sunday through Thursday. We prefer Sunday afternoon or evening arrivals. Weekend arrival may be accepted if necessary.
Getting Started
With the commencement of your Gerson Therapy Program Hawaii you will receive a doctor’s consultation that will include a comprehensive physical and psychological assessment refining the initial assessment that was done on registration. The doctor will conduct a physical exam and adjust your program if and as needed. [Start with Program Assessment]
