Detoxification includes avoidance of environmental toxins and removal of stored toxins. Stored toxins include environmental chemicals but also toxic products secreted by tumors and tumor breakdown products.
The strategy to strengthen the immune system and shrink tumors consists of:
- Avoid carcinogenic compounds with an organic diet, air and water filter and create an environment free of chemicals.
- Remove carcinogenic compounds from the body with natural high quality compounds that will displace chemicals.
- Remove these carcinogenic compounds from the body with enemas.
Enemas in Detoxification and Cancer Treatment
The process of detoxification consists of removing from body tissues, molecules that do not belong, such as carcinogenic compounds, chemicals and heavy metals. Aspartame, asbestos, chlorine, lead, arsenic, fluoride, pesticides and herbicides are just a few to name from a long list.
These foreign molecules lodge in the body by means of displacement of natural compounds, or by creation of novel bonds. They can be stored in fat, blood, hair and bones, interfering with the normal function of organs and mimicking our natural hormones. The process of removal of these toxic compounds from the body is called detoxification. If the body is presented with a natural nutrient, in its wisdom the body will choose this nutrient over a less functional chemical and the body will get rid of this chemical on its own. In the case of heavy metals such as mercury, there is a locking mechanism that is difficult to overcome with foods or herbs and chelators (compounds that combine with metals) such as Dimercaptosuccinic Acid (DMSA) or Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) may need to be used.
Toxins may be ingested in food and water, inhaled or absorbed by the skin such as in baths, shower, swimming pools, cleaning products or cosmetic products.
Toxins as Carcinogenic Compounds Found in Our Water and Food
Today, the existence of carcinogenic compounds is recognized by the scientific community. The list provided by the National Cancer Institute is constantly increasing. These carcinogens are contained in bath and beauty products, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, household cleaning products, food, children’s toys and furniture. The list is very long and new chemicals are added every day to the existing list. These compounds come from the air we breathe, the food we eat and the water we drink. The greatest risk of toxic exposure comes from our homes. Whether carcinogenic compounds alter the DNA of normal cells or trophoblastic cells, uncontrolled multiplication results and impairs organ function.
Cancer cells are formed daily in each one of us, but in healthy people the immune system can keep them in check. When the toxic load is such that it overwhelms the capacity of the immune system, cancer grows. Cancer can manifest as a solid mass on any organ of the body or as a liquid tumor in the blood or lymph.
Chlorine
This most common and ubiquitous pollutant has been well researched and studies are conclusive, linking chlorine to rectal cancer, bladder cancer and breast cancer. Chlorine may be ingested through drinking tap water or it could be absorbed by the skin when taking a bath/shower and when swimming in a pool. Chlorine can also be inhaled from the surface of the pool or when taking a shower/bath. It is more dangerous when it is inhaled or absorbed by the skin because it bypasses the liver. It bonds with proteins in the hair and causes brittle hair, it displaces iodine in the thyroid and causes hypothyroidism and recent studies show that it is linked to bladder cancer.

Swimming in a Chlorinated Pool
A study found that after 40 minutes of swimming, people showed a large rise in markers of DNA damage that can lead to cancer. Concentrations of four of the most common byproducts were seven times higher after people had swum. Another new suite of studies suggest that swimming in a chlorinated pool may increase the risk of developing cancer. The study identified more than 100 chemical byproducts in pools that use chlorine as a disinfectant.
Drinking Tap Water
Chemical byproducts called THMs are produced when chlorine is added to water. A Spanish study that was reported in the American Journal of Epidemiology found that “Those who drank high-chlorine tap water were 35 per cent more likely to get bladder cancer. Regular swimming in pools increased the risk by 57 per cent.” In addition, “Low levels of chlorine in tap water used for bathing can almost double the risk of bladder cancer.”

In another study researchers at Harvard University and the Medical College of Wisconsin concluded that chlorine is linked to rectal and bladder cancer. Lawrence Altman reported in the New York Times on this study, “The findings, reported today in The American Journal of Public Health, are drawn from a combination of 10 previous studies. Using statistical methods, the researchers found that the slightly higher rates of the two cancers seemed to correlate with the amount of byproducts produced by chlorinated water.”

According to the U.S. Council of Environmental Quality:
- “Cancer risk among people drinking chlorinated water is as much as 93% higher than among those whose water does not contain chlorine.”
- “Chlorine is one of the factors causing Breast Cancer which affects women now-a-days due to accumulations of chlorine compounds in the breast tissue.”
The major harmful means of exposure to chlorine is the inhalation of chlorine gas (chloroform) as it enters blood vessels directly through lungs. When chlorine is inhaled, it causes irritation to the sensitive tissues and bronchial passages inside our lungs and that is the reason chlorine vapors are used as chemical weapon in World War II. Chlorine is reported to be the cause of asthma and bronchitis especially in children.
Fluoride
Fluoride is a carcinogenic industrial waste that destroys enzymes by changing their shape. This action stimulates tumor growth in the body. Fluoride is added to 66.2% of the American population’s water and it is also added to toothpastes. The Taylor Study out of the University of Austin found that fluoride concentration of 1 PPM (parts per million) increases tumor growth rate by 25%. In the 1984 book, Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products, it is written that fluoride is more poisonous than lead, and just less poisonous than arsenic. In the book, Fluoride the Aging Factor: How to Recognize and Avoid the Devastating Effects of Fluoride, written by John Yiamouyiannis, Procter & Gamble was quoted stating, “A seven ounce tube of toothpaste, theoretically at least, contains enough fluoride to kill a small child.” If you look at your own toothpaste tube, you may observe a warning similar to this, “If more than used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.” In the 1992 Canadian Dental Association Proposed Fluoride Guidelines, the association warned that fluoride supplements should not be given to children under three years old. Michael Downey wrote in Canada’s Healthy Living Guide (January 1st, 2002) that drinking fluoridated water has been linked in government and scientific reports, to tooth and bone porousness, early aging, arthritis, osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s, memory and neurological impairment, kidney disorders, genetic damage and cancer. Also, fluoride further promotes leaching of lead from water pipes and solder. In addition Downey quoted Dr. Dean Burk, former Chief Chemist at the National Cancer Institute: “Fluoride causes more cancer, and causes it faster, than any other chemical.”
Austrian and Japanese researchers both found that a concentration of 1 PPM fluoride causes disruption of the body’s ability to repair its own DNA. Without this most basic cell function, cancer is promoted, and tumor growth is accelerated. One part per million is the standard fluoride level in US city water. Again in The Aging Factor (p.65), Dr. Yiamouyiannis, provides an amazing chart of some 19 major scientific studies conducted in universities all over the world, together proving beyond a doubt that fluoride causes genetic damage.

The Journal of the American Medical Association and the New England Journal of Medicine have both reported greater incidence of hip fractures in fluoridated areas. The National Institute of Environmental and Health Services has linked fluoridation with cancer.
A book by Dr. John Yiamouyiannis, titled “Fluoride, The Aging Factor,” shows that the drug causes a premature aging process. He notes that in areas where fluoride is consumed in the drinking water, there are higher rates of bone disorders (skeletal fluorosis, osteoporosis and arthritic pain) and people suffer from brown decaying teeth.
“Fluoride is a poison!” Yiamouyiannis warns.” The 1984 issue of Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products lists fluoride as more poisonous than lead and just slightly less poisonous than arsenic. It has been used as a pesticide for mice, rats and other small pests. A 10-pound infant could be killed by 1/100 of an ounce and a 100-pound adult could be killed by 1/10 of an ounce of fluoride. The Akron Regional Poison Center indicates that a 7-ounce tube of toothpaste contains 199 mg. of fluoride, more than enough to kill a 25-pound child.”
Yiamouyiannis writes that the acceleration of the aging process by fluoride occurs at the bio-chemical level by causing enzyme inhibition, collagen breakdown, genetic damage and disruption of the immune system.
“Fluoride interacts with the bonds which maintain the normal shape of proteins,” he continues. “With distorted protein, the immune system attacks it’s own protein, the body’s own tissue.” The visual and physical effects from prolonged exposure to fluoride include nausea, bloody vomit, faintness, stomach cramps, tremors, constipation, aching bones, stiffness, skin rash, weight loss and brown or black discoloration of the teeth. Processed Foods
Processed foods contain hundreds of chemical additives. These additives include preservatives and chemicals artificial colors and flavors. The list includes aspartame, a sugar substitute, MSG, high fructose corn syrup and many other newer and less studied compounds that allow foods to stay on the shelf for a long time and still taste like food.
All food additives, preservatives and colorants should be avoided and especially the following:
- sodium nitrite (In many packaged meats)
- saccharin (“Sweet and Low”)
- caffeine (especially the levels found in energy drinks)
- olestra (In the WOW chips that came out a few years ago)
- acesulfame K (in some of the new diet drinks like Coke Zero)
- artificial coloring (especially Red 3 and 40, Yellow 5 and 6, and Blue 1 and 2, Green 3 and Orange B)
- MSG (monosodium glutamate)
Diets high in processed meats (like hot dogs and deli meats) have been linked to various forms of cancer, such as pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer and stomach cancer.
Acrylamides, a substance found in cooked starchy foods such as potato chips, has been linked to several types of cancer including bowel, bladder and kidney, and is known to cause infertility and loss of muscle control. Cigarette smoking is a major source of acrylamide.

Commercial foods contain many pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers that are proven to cause cancer.
